I knew Mr. Monte through my work. I inspected the facility for which he worked numerous times. Due to the fact that I had been out on medical leave, I just recently found out about his passing. He was very proud of his work and kept the hospital in top form. Everyone there at the hospital respected the man. 
After work hours we would visit and he used to tell me about his love for his wife and family. He also kept his home country very close to his heart. 
He was a good man. I will miss him when I visit the facility during my inspections. 
Go with God amigo. May the ever forgiving Lord embrace you in His merciful arms and I pray that He has Blessed you with tranquility.  I also pray that his family have found peace in their hearts.

Such an honor to have such an acquaintance with Mr. Carlos Monte and reminisce our past history. Oh yes we were from 
two different worlds, Carlos had the passion to pass on the knowledge and suppourt in every manner or perdicument. That was Carlos, and I will miss those conversations my Friend.

If I had to choose only one word to describe Carlos, it would be this.... genuine.   I knew that from the moment I first met him when he became a part of my family.   He was genuine in the purest sense of the word - genuinely kind, humble, humorous, and caring.  He clearly loved people, and exuded a warmth every time he walked into a room.  He loved to tell stories and was always a pleasure to listen to.   I  wish I had known him longer, but am grateful for the time that I did know him.   Like all of his friends and family, I will miss Carlos greatly, but will always keep the memories alive.  Rest In peace, Carlos, and Go Argentina!

I met Carlos back in my early 20s. He was a very professional man and humble. He wanted all of his work area very clean and spotless. Thank you for trusting me Carlos. Over 18 years that we known each other and we always had great talks. We will miss you. 

I want to give you my deepest condolences to the Monte Family. My wish is that you are given comfort and support during this time. I hope friends and family who are far and close, are keeping the faith and expressing their love by great memories that connect them in spirit with their dearest Carlos. To carry on and celebrating the life, and holding on to our greatest hope from the one who supplies it abundantly. (Revelation 21:3,4) 

My condolences from Ed Ortiz and his Family.  I always had so much respect for Carlos. He was always kind, patient, and a good brother-in-law. I always enjoyed doing business with him—a very professional man and when the Houston Oilers were playing he was a True Blue Oiler fan back in the day. He will be up in heaven with my dad who always admired him and stop what he was doing to say hello to Carlos. RIP CARLOS.

I have spent the last few days in a state of deep, contemplative sadness — reflecting on the stories and lessons learned from my time with Carlos. 

We all too often describe people once they’re gone with banal platitudes — things they did or enjoyed while here — but Carlos was much more than that. Men like Carlos are made, not born. They possess an unshakable inner virtue shaped over a lifetime of moral and spiritual accomplishments — forged in hardship. From humble beginnings in Argentina, he ventured into the unknown and made a life for himself through sheer will and hard work. He raised and provided for his family through good times and bad, and he lived with integrity and a quiet air of humility. He achieved the American dream, created a better life for his wife and kids, and lived without an ounce of pretension. 

Carlos was a devoted father, a passionate grandfather, and a faithful husband. He was a good man — and a man I will honor, for as long as I remain on this earth.
