Jose Ernesto Jasso Sr., 69, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on March 28, 2019. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on December 28, 1949. Jose graduated from W. B. Ray High School and served in the U. S. Coast Guard from 1969 to 1975. He married Mutsuko Jasso on February 26, 1973. Jose worked as an I.R.S. agent for the Department of the Treasury. He had a passion for family, watching sports and his western movies, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernesto Jasso. He is survived by his wife, Mutsuko Jasso; children: Jose E. (Debby) Jasso Jr., David (Melanie Swasey) Jasso, Amy (Eric) Jaramillo;
grandchildren: Seiji Jasso, Anastacia Lysa Jasso, and Evelyn Audrey Jaramillo; mother, Dora Jasso;
sister, Sylvia Jasso; brother, Hector (Suzie) Jasso;
numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Cha-Cha.
A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with Holy Rosary recited at 7 pm, Monday, April 8, 2019 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. Memorial Mass will be Celebrated at 9:30 am, Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Graveside Inurnment will follow at 11 am at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
