Jose Javier Garza walked into his mother’s arms on February 27, 2017 at the age of 60. He was born on December 17, 1956 in Laredo, TX and moved to Corpus Christi February 5, 1965. Jose served our country in the U.S. Army years later. He worked at Coastal Plating and TCI Cable. Jose is preceded in death by his mother, Angela G. Garza. He is survived by his father, Jose R. Garza; sister, Yolanda Garza; daughters, Cristina Garza and Catrina Garza; grandchildren, Amber, David, Gavin and Madison. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Adrianna Salas, Adien Michael Alexander and Christopher Ruben Cantu; great-nieces and nephews, Daniel Basaldu, Victoria Elaine Salas and Sarah Adrianna Salas. Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral services will be held at Funeraria del Angel on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
