Jonathan Michael Barrera

He was born in Corpus Christi on December 12, 1984. Jonathan graduated from Roy Miller High School and attended Del Mar College.

Jonathan also referred to as "KSmoov" had a passion for creating and expressing himself through music. He loved his family dearly, he was an amazing son, brother, and friend. Jonathan was a very loving person and enjoyed making others happy. His huge smile and charisma could light the room, he will be truly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Roberto Aranda, Senona Chapa Aranda, and Martin Barrera, his uncles David Aranda and Julio Reyna, and his aunt, Eva Reyna.

He is survived by his parents Juan and Maryann Aranda Rodriguez, and father, Arturo Barrera, his grandmother Rosalinda Mata, brothers Arturo Barrera Jr., Juanito Rodriguez, Urvano Corvera, Bernandino Pablo Rodriguez, his sisters Marisol Rodriguez, Brandy Rodriguez, Alyssa Miranda Barrera, Maryannie Rodriguez. His uncles Martin Barrera (Cindy), Alfredo Barrera (Grace), Robert Aranda, Ruben Reyna, Richard Reyna (Gracie), Aniceto Reyna (Connie), Rogelio Reyna, Joe Rodriguez (Belin), Bernandino Rodriguez (Elena), his aunts Rebecca Lambert (James), Senona Casas (Javier), Maria Esparza, Francis Rodriguez, San Juanita Long, Esmeralda Gonzalez, and many cousins.

Funeral arrangements will be held at 2:00pm, July 16th 2021, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
