Johnny Angel Mendoza

Johnny Angel Mendoza, lovingly known as "Bear," was born on December 26, 1966, in Corpus Christi, TX. Johnny Bear was called home by the Lord on November 10, 2024 surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Johnny Bear touched countless lives with his incredible sense of humor, his loving and carefree spirit, and deep love for his family. Johnny Bear enjoyed family nights playing bingo, fishing, and most of all, watching his Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his father, David Mendoza (Jan); his mother, Aurora Morin Segura and stepfather, Nasario Segura; son, Markis Mendoza; grandchild, Malichi Mendoza; sisters, Patricia Mendoza Hawkins, Cathy Segura, and Renee Mendoza; and brothers, David Mendoza, Jr. and Michael Mendoza.

Johnny Bear was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Segura, who now welcomes him with open arms.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 am on Friday, November 22nd with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 12:30 pm. Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd., Corpus Christi, TX. Interment will be at 2:30 pm at Seaside Cemetery, 4357 Ocean Dr., Corpus Christi TX

A Celebration of Life will be held the same day between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm at:
