My husband, Jesus Andrew Murillo earned his wings to Heavens Gate on February 3, 2024.
He left so many beautiful memories to so many loved ones that he touched throughout his full of life he lived. He got drafted into the Army at the age of 17 in August of 1972 and served his country for six years and was Honorably discharged in 1978.
After that he started working in the Refinery industry for 36 years and traveled all over the states for work. He was a hardworking man who loved to fish, listen to his rock and roll music, soft rock, drink his beers and loved his Jack Daniels and coke. Also occasionally like to smoke his weed, LOL!. He loved to play his guitar with his friends and sing with Donna and AB. He used to play his guitar with Freddy Fender before he became famous many years ago at a younger age. Jesus loved to Barbecue and fry his famous fish and shrimp, which we will dearly miss. He loved to go on random trips car rides with his wife, Yoli as he would call her. They loved taking mini road trips to wherever the road would lead them.
And if you knew Chuy as everyone called and knew him than you knew he was one FUNNY GUY who always told jokes or had something smart to say about anything or everything. Oh but once he got a hold of TIK TOK, he would love to send everyone funny videos NON STOP! And boy oh boy he loved to eat especially when he didn’t have to pay LOL! When eating buffet he would fix 4 to 5 plates of everything he wanted just so he didn’t have to get up and everything would be in front of him. He dearly loved to go fishing and especially weight fishing. When he first took me fishing (Weight) , I was so scared I told him are you trying to sink me out here and no one would ever know, not even my daughters. LOL. he would tell me no babe you are crazy, now maybe a shark may eat you, I freaked out! And he would just laugh. But besides loving me, he loved his grandchildren. He loved them beyond measure and they were his everything. He could never say no even when their parents said no. He was the best POPO ever and he left a big void on his grandchildren. Not a day goes by they asked for him and say why did POPO go to heaven, we love him and miss him so much. Jesus lived and touched so many lives and will be dearly missed.
