Jesus “Jesse” Suarez III died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on July 24, 2017. Jesse had been battling many illnesses; yet, it was the battle of liver disease that took hold of his beautiful life.
Jesse was born on December 2, 1952 in Corpus Christi, Tx. He graduated highschool from F.H. Moody High School in 1971. Jesse took various trade/vocational courses at Del Mar College. He joined the United States Marine Corps Reserves in 1972 as an infantryman. On June 23, 1973, he married the love of his life, Anna Margot Lopez. After his time with the United States Marine Corps Reserves, Jesse became an old school carpenter and worked various jobs with contractors trying to make ends meet to provide for his family. Jesse was very active in his Roman Catholic faith. As the years flew by, he then became employed to the Nueces County Parks Department. After 10 labourous years, he became too ill to work. He then made little wooden religious crafts while at home and used such time to grow closer to his wife, sons and grandchildren. In the last days of his earthly chapter, he relied on the full support of his loved ones and found great peace within himself and among others. He took his last breath gazing into the eyes of his beautiful wife while griping a small statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Jesse is survived by the love of his life Margot, sons Jesus “Jesse” IV, Jason (Jennifer), Jared (Alyssa), and Josef. Grandchildren Susie-Rose, Ophelia, Cayden, and Maria. Sisters Gloria Suarez, Dora Suarez, Rose Bazan, Irene Olivarez, and brother Isreal Suarez. Preceded in death by parents Jesus R. Suarez Jr., Rosalba Suarez, and sister Maria Suarez.
Pallbearers- Jesse Suarez IV, Jason Suarez, Mark Hook, Maurice Hook, D.J. Bazan, Robert McQueen, Jesse Olivares, and Willy Loa Jr.
