Jacqueline Waid Jackson

Jacqueline Waid Jackson “Mama Jack”, 89 of Corpus Christi, TX went to be with her Heavenly Father on October 26, 2017 after a hard fought battle with illness. She was born in Norman, Arkansas on August 17, 1928. She married the love of her life, George Jackson on December 31, 1950. Mama Jack was a smiling angel who never met a stranger and was always there to help any way possible. She brough happiness and love to her family and friends and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alvie and Mona Waid; three sisters; four brothers; son, Michael Burns; and her granddaughter, Amy Wallace Estrada. She is survived by her husband of 66 years; her sons, Danny (Carla) Wallace, Richard (Diane) Jackson; daughter in law, Debbie Burns; grandchildren, DeWayne (Jennifer) Burns, Jeffrey Burns, Brandy (Henry) Rodriguez, Amanda Jackson, Van (Kelly) Baker, Daniel (Gabi) Baker, Danny Jr. (Melissa) Wallace; great grandchildren, Deron, Chelsea, McKenzie, Savanna, Michael, Lily, Oliver, Austin, Parker, Emma, Ryan, Joshua, Colin; and her four legged babies, Trouble and Ticker. She was a long time member of the B.P.O. Does, CC Industrial Noon Lions Club, and Daughters of The Nile. Family will receive friends at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Interment to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
