Hans grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas and raised his children in the surrounding area, where he was the Scout Master to Banquete Troop 54. Hans loved the outdoors and nature, he enjoyed to hunt, fish, and ride his motorcycle, but most of all he loved sharing all this with his family, “family was the most important thing to him”. Hans was a proud owner of Annaville Muffler and Automotive where he loved and helped others; he touched and inspired many lives by allowing his light shine for The Lord through his actions. He was a faithful servant of God, served in the Kairos Prison Ministry, active member of Gideon’s, and very active in the church. He always loved God and others.
Hans is preceded in death by his mother, Elfriede M. Paine; brother, Cecil Paine; and sister, Peggy Dale. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Tomasa Paine; sons, Refugio Gonzalez (Sandra), Joey Gonzalez (Alice), Hans Paine Jr. (Erin); daughters, Francis Mendoza (Abram), Maria Harris (Terry);siblings, Mary “Mickey” Wilson (Rodney), Kathy Paine (Willie) and Robert Paine (Lynette). He was a loving and fun Popo to 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren
Family will be receiving friends on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Annaville Baptist Church 4025 Violet Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78410 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with prayer service at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Annavile Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
