Gloria Cavazos Felix

Our beloved Gloria Cavazos Felix, 77, of Corpus Christi Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 5, 2022. She was born to the late Esteban and Aurora Cavazos on August 25, 1944 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She attended WB Ray High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Olga Cavazos. Gloria is survived by her children, Jennifer Cavazos; Jeremy (Laura) Felix; Jaclyn (Carlos) Araiza; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brother Jesse (Sara) Cavazos; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

She served faithfully for many years as a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista where she was involved with the Women's Group and other activities.

Gloria was immensely proud of her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She will be remembered as a stranger to no one!

Family and friends will be received for a Celebration of Life ceremony on Saturday July 30, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Primera Iglesia Bautista or a charity of your choice.

Family is also requesting those in attendance to please wear her favorite color, red.
