Francisca A. Acevedo

Francisca was blessed with nine children with their late-father Baltazar Acevedo Sr.; she buried two sons Abelardo & Felipe Acevedo, and grandson Alexander Acevedo.

She’s survived by her living sons & daughters, Baltazar & Suzanne Acevedo, Vidal & Ella Acevedo, Berta & Manuel Sosa, Diamantina Gonzalez, Alice & Fidel Yturria, Martha Acevedo, Eva & Kevin Hild; her daughters-in-law: Carmen Acevedo, Dolores Acevedo, her son-in-law Jesus Gonzalez, 18 grandchildren & 25 great-grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews.

Francisca was a life-long member of Primera Asamblea de Dios Church where she was active with Ladies Ministry. She nurtured her children in the Christian faith and was so proud that they all came to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. She encouraged her many grandchildren to do the same.

Luke 1:45 — Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!

A visitation for Francisca will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
