Felicitas Islas Delgado passed away on December 12, 2018 at the age 87. She was born on May 20, 1931 in Port Lavaca, Texas to the late Felix and Miquela Islas. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
Felicitas was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She will be remembered for her love of living life and always keeping busy. She was the caretaker of her family making sure everyone was fed and happy.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Jesus Delgado; daughter, Micaela “Mikki” Olivarez.
She leaves her loving memories to her beautiful children, David Delgado (Margie), Lydia Cruz (Juan), Robert Delgado (Diane), Richard Delgado, Linda Segovia; nineteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Rosa Orta, Lupe Herrera, Mary Manchaca, Janie Garcia, Joe Moya and Agapito Moya.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of The Rosary on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
