Ernestina C Hinojosa

She was born on October 12, 1925 to Beatrice and Erasmo Cortinas.

Ernestina C. “Tina” Hinojosa was a long time resident of Robstown, Texas.

She was active member and volunteered for many years in the Robstown Senior Citizen Community. Ernestina worked at the Hearth Nursing Home as a housekeeper for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Beatrice and Erasmo Cortinas; her beloved son, Pedro Hinojosa Jr. and grandson Pete Hinojosa, III.

Ernestina is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Pedro Hinojosa, Sr.; sister, Luz Diaz; daughters, Odelia (Salvador) Gonzales of Baytown, TX, and Mary Jane (Louis) Escamilla; Grandchildren, Norma Jean (Ken) Daniels, Vivian (Irene) Benavides, Elizabeth Benavides, Larry (Melissa) Benavides, Katarina (Ben) Armijo, Ernestina (Augustine) Hinojosa, Crystal (Eric) Hinojosa and Erin Holbrook; great-grandchildren, Peyton Jane Morales, Alena Daniels and Brandon (Sara) Benavides; step-grandchildren Camila (Sofia) Galvan.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Robstown, Texas.
