He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Enrique, Xavier and Mario Ponce

He is survived by his three children, Cesar Aron (Yvette) Ponce, Janie F. Ponce and Ashley N. Ponce; grandsons, Christopher Jace Silva and Roman Carter Ponce; brothers, Robert (Dolores) Ponce, Ricardo Ponce, Martin Ponce, Mark (Marissa) Ponce; sisters, Juanie (David) Uribe, Leticia Ponce, Janie (Reggie) Roda, Martha (Robert) Lopez, and Maria L. (Luis) Santamaria and along with numerous nephews and nieces.

Cesar always put his family first. Whether it be for a birthday, BBQ, holiday or just a quick 1 day trip to Corpus Christi, he loved being spontaneous and just getting up and going. He loved his children deeply and always did whatever he could to support them, be by their side, and give them all that he could. His children and grandsons were his everything. He will be missed for his smile, personality, charm and love.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
