Carlos will be remembered for his devotion to his wife and sons who remained at his side throughout his journey in life and into eternal life.
He was a great example of how a father should raise his sons to be the most upstanding citizen that they are.
Carlos served his country proudly in the U.S. Army for two years beginning in 1966. He was employed at C.C.A.D retiring in 2003 after 35 years of service.
Carlos is preceded in death by his beloved mother Maria Chapa and a sister Matilde. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Santos Chapa, his sons Carlos III, Daniel, and Michael Chapa, and his father Carlos Chapa Sr. He is also survived by his sisters, Esther Rocha (Gilbert), Grace Sedillo (Manuel), and Elida Reyes (Rey) along with numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.
His family invites you to attend a celebration of his life with a visitation from 5pm to 9pm on Sunday June 21, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly with a rosary to be recited at 7 pm.
Funeral service will be held at St. Peter the Apostle 3901 Violet Road Corpus Christi, Texas 78410 at 10:30 am on Monday June 22, 2015. Interment with full military honors to follow at Coastal Bend Veterans Cemetery.
