Betsy Veracoechea passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024, in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she had resided with her son Alberto and his family since 2019.
Betsy is survived by her beloved children: Günther Alberto Rincón Veracoechea, Natasha Rincón de Rivera, and Alberto Rincón Veracoechea; her daughters- and son-in-law: Oksana Rivera de Rincón, Joana Castillo de Rincón, and Jose Rivera; and her cherished grandchildren: Carlos Rincón Vázquez, Julián Rincón Vázquez, Juliette Rincón Vázquez, Jessica Rivera-Rincón, Jennifer Rivera-Rincón, and Valentina Rincón Castillo.
Born in Venezuela, Betsy possessed a boundless creativity and a talent for sewing and crafts. With her magical hands, she could bring anyone’s vision to life. Above all, Betsy was devoted to her sons and daughter, finding her greatest joy in watching her children grow older and helping them in raising her grandchildren.
Her love, kindness, and creative spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Betsy will be deeply missed.
