Barbara Nishimoto Bond

She was born on August 14, 1941 to Hugo and Marian Nishimoto in Lincoln, California. She was raised in California, and when she got married she moved to Corpus Christi, Texas.

Barbara and her former spouse, LT Bond, have two sons, Jason and Dustin. Barbara was a loving mom, Nana, wife, daughter, sister, and friend to all. She loved to spend time cooking, talking with friends and staying active in her sorority group. She never met a stranger!

Barbara had a very generous heart and always sent cards and gift cards to her loved ones. She loved her sons and their wives, her grandchildren, and great grandchild very much and always talked about each of them with pride.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Hugo and Marian Nishimoto and brother Herbert Nishimoto.

Barbara is survived by her sons Jason (Rose) Bond and Dustin (Annette) Bond; her grandchildren Caitlin (Patrick) White, Cameron Bond, Dannette Bond, Austin Bond, Aaron Sanders, Shareen Sanders; her great grandchild Allyson Becho; her brothers, Bill (Joan) of Sunnyvale, Ed (Ayako) of San Francisco; Ted (Michiko) of Auburn, and Bob (Joanie) of Sacramento; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebration of life for Barbara will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 3115 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, TX.
