Antonio Gonzalez Jr.

Antonio Gonzalez, Jr., 72, of Robstown, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on October 29, 1949, in Lambert, Mississippi to parents Antonio Gonzalez, Sr. and Myrtle Dixon Gonzalez.

Antonio was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Anita Valenzuela and Librado Gonzalez.

Antonio was a loving father and grandfather that will be missed by everyone that knew him. He was a hardworking, easygoing, kindhearted, loving father and grandfather, who retired from Citgo Refineries after 30 plus years. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and College Football.

Antonio is survived by his children, Amanda Pena, Andrea Gonzalez, Ashley Torres, Lafe Meade and Rena Doughty; 12 grandchildren; siblings, Gilbert Gonzalez, Ray Gonzalez and Paul Gonzalez.

A visitation for Antonio will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel - Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A chapel service will occur Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. An interment will occur Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Memorial Park, 4607 FM Road 1889, Robstown, Texas 78380.
