Anita R. Martinez

She was born on June 28, 1952 in Sinton, Texas to the late Nicholas and Carmen Reyna.

Anita is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Gracie Ymbert.

Anita leaves behind her family to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband of 43 years, Joe D. Martinez; four children, Alice (Domingo) Garcia, Joe (Jessica) Martinez, Rudy (Melissa) Martinez, and Ralph (Jennifer) Martinez; thirteen grandchildren; ten siblings, Josephine Carranza, Roberto Reyna, Rosendo Reyna, Rudy Reyna, Linda Ramirez, Ramiro Reyna, Nicholas Reyna, Jr., Eloy Reyna, Helen Soliz, and Beatrice Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Guadalupe Martinez, Jr., Leroy Carranza, Guillermo Garcia, Jr., Rodney Ramirez, Matthew Garcia and Ismael Ramirez, Jr. Honorary pallbearers, Domingo Lee Garcia, Jr. and Rudy Martinez, Jr.
