Huei Ling Liang

Huei Ling was born in Yuanlin, Taiwan on March 21st, 1959, to her parents Tsao Cha Liang and Sen Yuan Liang. She grew up alongside her three sisters — Jane Weng, Chao Liang, and Tammy Liang — and her brother, Sam Liang.

Her lifelong passion for music led her to graduate from Taiwan Municipal Teachers’ College in July of 1979. After immigrating to the United States in 1983, Huei Ling earned her bachelor’s degree in music from the University of California, Irvine.

A woman of deep Christian faith, Huei Ling was a devoted member of several Chinese Christian congregations, where she shared her musical talents and steadfast spirit. Her love for music was evident in her joy for playing the piano and singing. She also found delight in making beautiful flower and succulent arrangements and traveling the world by cruise.

Huei Ling is survived by her two loving children, Amy Yang and Alan Hung, who will forever cherish her strength, kindness, and grace.

Her life was one of faith, music, and love, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation for Huei Ling will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Pacific View Memorial Park, 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona Del Mar, CA 92625, followed by a funeral service from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
