Rhea Cecile Geoffrion

GEOFFRION, Rhea Cecile (Payette) – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday January 9, 2014. She was 95. Beloved wife of the late Emile Hector Geoffrion. Loving mother of Monique Gravelle (late Claude), Suzanne Geoffrion (John Shideler) and Roger Geoffrion (Joanne Zimmerling). Sadly missed by 4 grandchildren, Geoffrey Shideler (Tia), Corey Shideler, Tim and Terry Gray and 5, great grandchildren, Tyler, Devon, Lila, Thalia and Nathaniel. Survived by one sister Lillian Lecompte. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Charles Armand and Vanetta Mary (Payette) Payette, 4 sisters, Anita Murray (late Maurice), Noella Bazinet (Robert), Cecile Smith (late Woodrow), Lorraine LeRoux (late Francis), one brother Edgar Payette (late Carmen), and many in-laws from the Geoffrion Family. Rhea fondly enjoyed all of her precious time spent on the golf course. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Sunday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and on Monday from Noon 1:30pm. Funeral Mass Monday January 13, 2014 at Co-Cathédral de la Nativité at 2pm. Rite of Committal to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
