Peggy Hill

Peggy Hill passed away peacefully on December 11, 2015 with her daughter Stephanie by her side. Peggy was born in Owen Sound June 2, 1921. She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd Bertram Hill. Beloved Mother toNancy Hallberg (Don), Stephanie Hill-Nicholls, Harry Hill (Roy Wood) and MaryJane Hill. Adored Grandmother of Jim Davis (Helen Macintosh), Ian Davis, Jana Campbell (Jeremy), Julia Hallberg, Todd Nicholls, Lee Nicholls (Michelle Cheffer), Elizabeth Wood (John Pritchard), David-John and Jodie Bridgewood, Debbie Endo (Duane), Ryan Wetzl (Mylaine St. Amour) and Ashley Geneau (Geoff). Cherished Great-Grandmother of Tristan Lalonde, Carrigan Davis, Kaleigh, Owen and Avery Nicholls, Kailyn andMelissa Pritchard, Sage and Cedar Bridgewood, Emma, Scott, Sean and Lauren Endo, Ramsay and Maya Wetzl, Ella and Emma Geneau. Treasured best friend of Olive Bellis. Predeceased by her parents Harry Price and Ethel (Hilkker) Price and by her brother Henry James 'Bud' Price. Peggy was active in the Women's PC Association, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, with the Ontario SPCA, Arthritis Society and the Martintown Horticultural Society. She has passed on her zest for life, her positive attitude and her sense of humour to her family. Many thanks to the Third Floor staff at Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge for their constant and thoughtful caring. She loved you all. Visitation will take place at Lahaie and Sullivan, 20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall, Friday, January 1, 2016 – 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. January 2, 2016 – 12 noon to 1:30 pm. Memorial Service January 2, 2016 at Christ Church (Anglican) Long Sault 2 pm officated by Fr. Peter Barkway. In Lieu of flowers the family will appreciate donations to the Ontario SPCA, Cornwall Branch.
