ADAMS. Lorraine (Roach) – Peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday October 28, 2012. She was 83. Beloved wife of the late Lester Adams. Dear mother of Lester Adams Jr. (Kimberly), Vickie Brunet (Claude), Dale Sommerville (Brent). Cherished grandmother of Shannon (Greg), Lester, Tracy (Steve), Melissa (Adam), Todd (Stephanie), Angela (Trevor), Adam (Melanie) and great grandmother of Katellyn, Austin, Brianna, Anna, Erin, Autumn, Evan, and Zachary. Survived by one sister, Marlene Tallon (Vincent). Also survived by her former daughter-in-law, Maria. Predeceased by her parents, Morris and Victoria (Turgeon) Roach, sisters, Edna Hawn (late Eugene), Verna Bergeron (late Victor), Muriel Biddle, brothers, Morris, Roach and Garfield Roache (late Hilda) and grandchildren, Shane and Sherry Emond. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall, on Tuesday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and on Wednesday from 9:30 – 10:30am. Funeral Mass Wednesday October 31, 2012 at St. Columban’s Catholic Church at 11am. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Hospice Cornwall – Carefor or the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated.
