BESNER, Irene - peacefully at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Center on Friday June 11, 2021. Irene (née Seguin) Besner of Cornwall; age 91. Beloved wife of the late Hilaire Besner. Loving mother of Suzanne Menzies (David) of Woodstock, Aurele Besner (Diane) of Apple Hill, Denise Seguin (Gerald) & Denis Besner (Diane) both of Glen Walter, Joanne Besner (Garry Soule) of Martintown and Alain Besner (Marie- Anne) of Williamstown. Proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Cherished sister of Jean-Guy (Claudette) and Gerald (Donna) both of Cornwall. Predeceased by her parents Alexandre Seguin, Clara (née Pilon) and her siblings Edmour (Laura), Emilien (the late Irene), Lucien (the late Juliette), Raymond (Desanges), Edgar (late Jeannette), Rene (late Barbara), Lionel, Yvonne Bourdeau (Late Dr. Yvon) and Lauria Campeau (late Zephir).

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie and Sullivan Funeral Home, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841).
