Peacefully on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site. Mr. Henry Joseph Maurice Lalonde of Long Sault; age 76 years. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Tyo. Loving father of Curtis (Kelly) and Rodney (Danielle). Cherished grandfather of Kayla, Adam and Magen. Loving brother of Marcel (Sandy), Linda Campeau (Roger) and Marie Seguin (Denis). Predeceased by his parents Henry Edward and Catherine (Carriere) Lalonde, his birth mother Florence (Grainger) Lalonde, brothers Gerard (the late Jeannine), Maurice (Edyth), sisters Rita Larin (the late Robert) and Elaine Timbers (the late Rosaire Parent) and by grandson Jason Curtis Lalonde.
Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 2 p. m. Tuesday. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 25 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 12 p.m. The family will be in attendance from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of Service.
Members of the Royal Canadian Legion are invited to assemble for a Legion Tribute on Tuesday at 7:15 pm.
