Beloved husband of Patricia (Entwistle) Markell. Loving father of Kathy (Robert) Sicard of Conestogo, John Markell (Kim) of Canal Winchester, Ohio, and Patty Markell (Denis Joyal) of Cornwall. Cherished grandfather of Blake (Rose), Ashley, Ryan, Taylor, Courtney and Jonathan. Great-grandfather of Damen, Jordan and Taylor. Son of the late Richard Markell and the late Nora (Hough) Markell. Predeceased by one brother George Markell and by one sister Helen Summerville. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 2 P.M. Tuesday. Funeral, Wednesday, August 7, 2013 for Service in Trinity Anglican Church at 12 noon. The family will be in attendance on Tuesday from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. and Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until time of Funeral.
