Roger Dale Sellers

The family is inviting family and friends to attend a memorial service to celebrate the life of Roger Dale Sellers Sr. The service will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. Bro. Warren Jones will officiate.

Mr. Sellers died Monday, April 11, 2011 at his residence. He was born on June 14, 1957 to the late Carl and Effie Garrett Sellers in Fulton, MS. His birth mother died when Roger was a young child. His father later married Linda,who also preceded him in death, raised Roger as his own. During his adult life, he worked as a laborer with brick masons.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Ray Sellers; and a sister, Sandra Clark.

Survivors include his companion, Mary Davis of Corinth; three sons, Roger Dale Sellers Jr. of Corinth, Josh Sellers and wife Jamie of Nettleton and Brian Sellers of Missouri; two daughters, Rose Ince of Missouri and Bridgett Dixon of Corinth; a brother, Eddie Sellers of Dyersburg, Tenn.; a sister, Linda Horton and husband Tony of Rienzi; five grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 P.M. on Friday.

In lieu of customary remembrances, that family requests that honorariums be made to the charity of ones choice.
