Robert Loren Chase

Robert Loren Chase, 84, of Rienzi passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Tishomingo Living Center in Iuka.

He was born February 25, 1940 to the late W.R. and Velma Childers Chase. He was a lifelong resident of Jacinto and the caretaker of the historic Jacinto Courthouse. Robert enjoyed watching "Gunsmoke", John Wayne westerns and dancing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Clara Burcham Chase; and his daughter, Rebekah Chase.

Robert is survived by two sons, Matthew Chase (Anita) and Mark Chase; two grandchildren, Dakota Chase (Ashley) and Robbie Chase (Chelsea); and a host of extended family and friends.

There is a Celebration of Life Service scheduled for Friday, March 1, 2024 beginning at one o'clock in the afternoon at McPeters Funeral Directors with Rayburn Richardson officiating. The family will accept friends beginning at eleven o'clock in the morning until service time.
