Service to celebrate the life of Patrick Anthony "Shoney" Rinehart, 48, will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church.. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM until service time.

Patrick passed away on April 10, 2024 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born on July 25, 1975 in Sacramento, CA to Frank and Virginia Leggitt Rinehart. He was a truck driver for over 20 years. He was a loving father and devoted family man with an infectious smile and love for good jokes. He enjoyed cooking for his family, racing, football, golfing, fishing and in his spare time he liked playing video games with Makynlee.

He is survived by the mother of his children and best friend, Shelley Smith; daughter, Courtney Rinehart; son, Chance Rinehart (Makayla); special goddaughter, Makynlee Smith and her dad, Jimmie Smith; special Colebug, Nicole Wren and niece, Maddy Wren; brothers, Bill Rinehart (Donna) and Robert Rinehart (Mary); sisters, Donna, Lydia and Angela Rinehart; and a host of special nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Otto Wesley and Agnus Hope Leggitt; paternal grandparents, William Dow and Mable Alice Rinehart; and a brother, Jeffrey Reece Kerr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Damien Baker, Chris Baker and Connor Frost.
