A graveside service to celebrate the life of Nathan Leon Hardin, 93 will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 18, 2024, at Henry Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until service time at Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Nathan Vanhorn will officiate the services.
Nathan passed away on October 10, 2024, at Cornerstone Rehab. He was born in Biggersville, MS on April 14, 1931, to the late Columbus and Mary Bragg Hardin. He was a graduate of Biggersville High School. He served in the National Guard and the U.S. Army where he was a sharpshooter trainer. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason. Early on, he was employed with Corinth Machinery Company where he learned the trade, then in 1981 he started his own business, Corinth Mill Supply.
Nathan worked until his 90's, loved golf and enjoyed playing in tournaments with his son-in-law, Billy Napier. He started running at 80 years old and ran many 5K and 10K races around northeast Mississippi. He loved pickwick, fishing and was an avid boater making several long-distance trips with his wife and friends.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 67 years, Jean Hearn Hardin; daughter, Beverly Hardin Napier (Billy); grandchildren, Will Napier and Brenley Napier; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Toby Hardin, George Hardin, Billy Hardin and Joe Hardin; and a sister, Eunice Holloway.
Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Corinth Mill Supply.
