Matthew "Matt" Hamilton

A Celebration of Life Service for Matthew Vaden Hamilton, 57, is set for 2:00pm Monday at Tuscumbia Baptist Church with Bro. Branston Vuncannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Tuscumbia Church Cemetery. Family and Friends Gathering will be Monday from 12:00pm to service time at the church.

Matthew died November 14, 2024, in Corinth, MS. He was born June 6, 1967 in Mobile, AL to Herbert and Nita Hamilton. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator Superintendent, attended Tuscumbia Baptist Church, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nita Hamilton; and his cousin, Chucky Peyregne.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jennifer Hamilton; father, Herbert Hamilton; his sons, Little Matt Hamilton (Megan) and Gus Hamilton (Nichole); daughter, Elizabeth Jennings (Josh); brothers, Herbert Hamilton, Jr. and Dustin Hamilton; grandchildren, Kaden, Kenlee, Kholee, Kylee, Kayce, Addie, Maeleigh, Henry, Oliva, and Mallory; a great grandchild due May of 2025; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Clifton Holloway, Dewayne Crum, Gary Lee Humbers, Austin Bullard, Josh Jennings, and Justin Crum.
