Loretta “Rita” Jean Butler, 72, died September 29, 2024, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. A Family and Friends Gathering is set for Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home.
Rita was born September 17, 1952 in Memphis, She was a homemaker, who loved God, going shopping, yard sales, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was amazing in the kitchen. Rita loved cooking for her loved ones, singing, reading, and her fur babies, Charlie Brown and CoCo. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Butler; brother, James “Jimmy Dale” White; and nephew, Leon White, III.
She is survived by her son, Kenny Butler (Michele); daughters, Tina Butler and Connie Howell; her mother, Annie Marie Eppinette; grandchildren, DJ Butler, Noah Culbert, Tyler Beatty, Jake Beatty, Matthew Frye, Sarah Holt Farmer, Ashley Butler, Heather Frye, and Allyson Fyre; great grandchildren, Abram Malone and Gabriel Butler; brother, Leon White, Jr. (Kathy); sister, Gloria Marise (Bobby); and a host of other family and friends.
Arrangements are under the care of Memorial Funeral Home.
