Gertrude Taylor

Gertrude died July 31, 2017 at MS. Care Center. She was born February 27, 1933 in Alcorn Co. to the late Tommy and Mary Barnes. She was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church, was retired from ITT after over 30 years of service. She enjoyed sitting with the elderly, sewing, reading and flowers.

Preceded in death by her first husband, Adron Crum, second husband, Tom Taylor; stepson David Taylor; parents; sisters, Edna (Phillip) Jullian, Dorothy (Charles) Perkins; brothers, Bill (Marie) Barnes, Tommy (Martha) Barnes); brother-in-law’s, Knox Mills, Jimmy Lambert, Leroy Hanvey.

She is survived by her son, Tommy (Sue) Crum; daughter, Millie Mayo; step-daughter, Tommie Sue Taylor; brother, Charles (Beulah) Barnes; sisters Sue Lambert, Kathryn Mills, Betty Jo. Hanvey; grandchildren, Haley, Chris, Tracy, Lillie, Jamie, Maggie, Lindsey; brother-in-law, J.K. (Shelia) Crum); host of other family and friends.

Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 and Wednesday from 12:00 to service time.
