Earl Cutchens

Earl Cutchens passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at MS Care Center. He was born on April 4,1945 to the late Millard and Ina Cutchens in Albany, Georgia. With his father being a Baptist preacher, he moved around alot before settling in Savannah Georgia. Earl graduated high school at Bradwell Institute and then Northeast Mississippi Community College, earning a business degree. He worked for Hall of Mississippi until his retirement in 1982. Earl and his wife, Margrette were members of Oakland Baptist Church. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp. Earl enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting guns, mowing the yard, but most of all spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Cutchens.

Earl is survived by his his wife of 40 years, Margrette Cutchens; son, Michael Cutchens (Candy); brothers, Waymon Cutchens, Larry Cutchens and Craig Cutchens; sister, Jennette Honeycutt; grandchildren, Chloe Puskar (Sam) and Christopher Milligan; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Box Chapel Methodist Church.
