Shirley, I am so sorry about Carol Ann. She was one of the sweetest people that I have ever had the privilege to know. Words at a time like this are so inadequate, just know that you and your family are in my prayers.

Shirley, I remember Carol Ann when we were all at Aunt Ruby's many years ago.  I remember as a young child what a devoted mother you were. You and your family have our deepest sympathy.(In case you don't remember me I am Wesley and Inez Gaines' daughter.)

We are so sorry for your loss of Carol Ann; however your loss is heaven's gain.  Carol Ann was always such a blessing in my class and Shirley and Mary Margaret were so supportive.  God bless you and your family. Kimberly is very sad about your loss too.

Aunt Shirley, Cousin Craig and Cousin Mary Margaret, I'm so sorry for the loss of Carol Ann.  She was one of those people that made you feel warm and loved the minute you came into her presence-she made sure to tell you how much she loved you and how glad she was to have time with you. I will always remember that about her.  We love you and have you in our prayers.

I remember spending so many of my childhood summers at Aunt Shirley's house with Carol Ann, Craig and Mary Margaret.  Of course as we got older, Carol Ann and I discussed the finer points of watching our soap operas!  I love you Carol Ann. You may be gone from this earth and missed dearly, but I know you will be at the gates of heaven to welcome each and every one of us! Your Texas cousin - DeDe
