Yolande Floro

Yolande Floro, aged 80, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2024. Born in Léogâne, Haiti, Yolande was the heart and soul of her family, known for her warm and loving spirit. She was married to her beloved husband, Vernon Floro, for 55 years, and their anniversary was celebrated on September 13.

Yolande is survived by her son, Vernon Floro II, and daughters, Denise Fulmore, Renee Westergren, and Michele Hedberg. She was a proud grandmother to Ron, Camille, Kaia, Elaina, Samantha, Ava, and Aiden, and great-grandmother to Leo and Brock.

Yolande lived a full and active life. She had a deep love for reading, listening to music, and playing racquetball and bowling. She enjoyed staying fit by exercising, walking in the park, and practicing yoga. Her favorite pastimes included solving word searches and puzzles, and she was known to be an avid Candy Crush player.

Yolande’s legacy of love, strength, and joy will live on in her family and friends. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and care, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 2:00pm- 5:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home, 1655 N University Dr. Coral Springs, FL 33071. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate her life and honor the impact she made on those fortunate enough to know her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Yolande’s name.
