Robert George Yarnell

Yarnell, Robert G., 79, of Coral Springs, Fl, passed away October 7, 2012. Robert was born April 1, 1933 in Mill Hall, PA to the late George and Mildred (nee Harnish) Yarnell. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War receiving four Bronze Stars with Valor. He was employed by Piper Aircraft for 30 years until his relocation to Florida where he retired from the Country Club of Coral Springs after 20 years of dedicated service. Robert was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Coral Springs and he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was predeceased by his brother, Fred Yarnell and sister, Louise Yarnell. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 55 years, Romayne, son, Clifford Yarnell, daughter, Tina Yarnell, grandson, Christian Yarnell, sisters, Betty Vucolla, Marie (Ted) Koch, brother, Donald Yarnell, sister-in-law, Dorothy Yarnell Jackman and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012, 11:00am at the First United Methodist Church of Coral Springs, 8650 West Sample Road, Coral Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Robert's memory to the First United Methodist Church of Coral Springs.
