Alfred A. LeMaire

LeMaire, Alfred A., 83, of Margate, went to be with the Lord, December 27, 2013. Alfred was born November 17, 1930 in New York, NY to the late Alfred and Josephine LeMaire. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Ruth in 2008. He earned a Masters Degree in English and taught for over 25 years at Broward Community College – Davie Campus until retirement in 1996. Al attended Calvary Chapel, Fort Lauderdale. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving sons, Michael (Kristy) LeMaire, Mark (Shawna) LeMaire, stepson, Tony Hollis, grandchildren, Lee Smith, Dixie Smith, Deanna Smith, Anthony Hollis, Christopher LeMaire, Jacob LeMaire, Luke LeMaire, Elli LeMaire, great grandchildren, Sarah, Tyler, Conner and his sister, Dorothy Jenks. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 3, 2014, 10:00 – 11:00am at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00am. Interment will be at South Florida National Cemetery at 2:00pm.
