Mary graduated Bernalillo High School in 1956. On December 20, 1958 she married her high school sweetheart Paul Amado C’ De Baca. They were married for 50 years and had two children, Deborah and Sharon. Mary cherished her role as a Military wife and added balance to her life by becoming the business owner of M.B.A. Carwash and Equipment, which she retired from in 2009 after the passing of her beloved husband Paul.
Mary was a member of Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church for 30 years. She enjoyed listening to music from a variety of cultures, spending time with her grandchildren, and dedicated her life to high school sweetheart, Paul. Mary fought a brave battle against Alzheimer’s disease and surrounded by her family she went to be with the Lord, but will never be forgotten.
Mary is survived by her daughter; Sharon (Jeffery Woods) Hemenway of Copperas Cove, Texas, her brother; Joseph (Maryann) Ruiz of Santa Fe, New Mexico, her sister; Dianne Bakarian of Pennsacola, Florida, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A rosary is scheduled for Oct. 6 at 6:30 pm with a memorial service to begin at 7:00 pm at Crawford-Bowers, Copperas Cove.
