Lossie Berniece Thomas Peoples

Berniece Peoples, 90, of Copperas Cove, TX was born in Witcherville, AR, on August 8, 1924, to Beal and Lessie Thomas. She was received into the hands of her Lord on January 11, 2015. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, Copperas Cove.

Berniece married her husband of 73 years, M.J. (Jack) Peoples on March 12, 1941.

Berniece is survived by her husband , Jack, five children, Jackie Peoples and wife Shelby, of Shallowater, TX, Edith Smith and husband Les of Hutto, TX, Charles Peoples and wife Evelyn, of Spring, TX, Dianna Milligan of Hutto, TX, Tammie Sanders and husband Ervin of Spring, TX, brother Melbern Thomas and wife Willadean of Raleigh, NC, sister Betty Kline of Pinebluff, AR, eight grandchildren, Keith Stolle, Rhonda Richardson, Kevin Stolle, Chris Milligan, Tracey Wood, Renee Briles, Rachel Gill, and Jordan Sanders, 16 great grandchildren , and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Marie Knight, and brothers Levaun and Paul Thomas.

Pallbearers are Keith Stolle, Kevin Stolle, Chris Milligan, Renee Briles, Jordan Sanders, Ryan Stolle, Gene Stolle, Tyler Richardson, Zack Richardson.

A time of visitation will be Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Copperas Cove. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Copperas Cove with burial following at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
