Joe served in the U.S. Army as a computer maintenance technician. He met his beautiful bride and wife of 46 years, Yolanda, while stationed in Corpus Christi, Tx.
In 1984, Joe retired after 22 years in the U.S. Army and began his lifetime career in the computer technician industry, eventually retiring from General Dynamics in Ft. Hood, Texas. He remained living in Copperas Cove, Texas with his wife and eight children. He also continued his education, receiving a degree in Heating and Air Conditioning. He also worked as an instructor aide at Central Texas Community College, for heating and air conditioning, where he enjoyed mentoring students in the curriculum. When Joe was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his large family and many grandchildren.
Joe loved discussing politics, eating healthy, traveling to Colorado and Washington to visit his adult children and family. When Joe was not reading about heating and air conditioning, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to take his family out to eat, to the park, and bowling whenever he had the time.
Joe is survived by his wife, Yolanda; daughters, Erica, Susan, Monica, and Lydia; sons Frank, Michael, Kevin, and Peter; and many grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 4-8 pm at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Copperas Cove. Graveside Service will be Monday, August 26, 2019 2 pm at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX
