Jose "Tony" Antonio Castro

Jose Antonio Castro was born March 20th, 1958 in Santa Ana, El Salvador to Francisco Castro and Carmen Melania Calderon de Castro. Tony or Tonito as he was called passed away on July 28th, 2021 in The Colony, Texas.

Tony came to the United States in search of reuniting the family he lost at three years old. Much to his dismay, he had a sister and three other brothers. Tony enjoyed working hard, soccer and family.

Tony is survived by his sister; Melany Shea and brother;: John and Rachel Rivera, Edwin and Ann Young, and Rocky and Jeanie Young. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces; Aaron Covert, Teresa Moreta, Eric Covert, Jonathan Rivera, Ryan Rivera, Blake Young, Logan Young, and Madeline Young and many grand nephews and nieces.

A visitation for Jose will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 211 W Avenue B, Copperas Cove, Texas. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 13, 2021 at 3:00 PM, 211 W Avenue B, Copperas Cove, Texas. A burial to follow will occur Friday, August 13, 2021 at Copperas Cove City Cemetery, 415 E Avenue A, Copperas Cove, Texas 76522.
