Deborah Lou Murphy

Debbie worked many years at Metroplex Hospital in the business office. She had the gift of patience and her caring nature which made her the perfect person for her position. Deborah was a strong christian woman who gave her all for her family. She was very friendly and never met a stranger. Friends and family say that Debbie was the kindest person they had ever met.

Deborah is preceded in death by her grandmother, Grandma Vestel, her parents Wanda and Smitty Smith and her sister.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Michael Murphy; her daughter, Karen Marshall; grandson, Blake Marshall; her son, Richard Marshall and wife Edna; grandchildren, Jose Cortez and Ashley Marshall; her cousins, Wade Harrison, Bobby Vestel, and Norma Judkins.

A Celebration of Life for Deborah was held Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Open Gate Cowboy Church, 1602 E. Ave. J, Lampasas, Texas.
