Lois LaVerne Moore went home to her Lord and Savior on June 12, 2018. LaVerne was born on January 26, 1930 to Arvil Walter Graves and Jewell Marie Graves. Upon graduating from high school in Jackson, Tennessee, LaVerne worked for General Motors Acceptance Corp. where she met the love of her life Roger Powers Moore. LaVerne and Roger were married on May 16, 1954 and later moved to Dallas, Texas where LaVerne worked as an Executive Assistant for pastors Dr. W.A. Criswell, Dr. Bo Baker and Dr. Jimmy Draper. LaVerne had a heart for Christ and exemplified compassion with not only her family which she adored but also with friends and those with whom she came in contact. She will be remembered with great love and affection by all who knew her. LaVerne now joins in heaven her husband of 57 years Roger Powers Moore and is survived by her daughter Cynthia Moore, son Alan Moore, daughter-in-law Suzanne Moore and five adored grandchildren Heather Liebbe, Ryan Liebbe, Ryan’s wife Stephanie Liebbe, Lauren Moore, Austin Moore, Megan Moore, great grandson Holden Liebbe and sister Pamela Stanfill. LaVerne’s life will be celebrated at a visitation on Thursday, June 14 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home in Coppell, Texas. Interment to follow at Rolling Oaks Memorial Center in Coppell.
