Eneida (Emily) Sayão Lobato

21 abril, 1939 – 28 marzo, 2025
Obituario de Eneida (Emily) Sayão Lobato
EN EL CUIDADO DE

Rolling Oaks Funeral Home

Emily Sayão Lobato was born on April 21, 1939, in Minas Gerais, Brazil, to Hilda Muzzi Machado and Laurindo Lopes de Carvalho. She spent her childhood in Brazil before moving to Golden, Colorado, where she lovingly supported the brilliant career of her husband, Dr. Fabiano Sayão Lobato, in geophysics.

In her forties, Emily began a fulfilling career with Continental Airlines, where she took great pride in being recognized for her contributions. In her sixties, she moved to Dallas to help raise three of her grandchildren, bringing her unwavering devotion and joyful spirit into their daily lives. She found a wonderful community through the YMCA, First United Methodist Church of Coppell, and the Lunch Bunch Ladies’ group.

Emily was a woman of many talents and passions. She delighted in tennis and aerobic dance, and found creative expression through oil painting, piano, and violin. Her warmth, grace, and zest for life left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hilda Muzzi Machado and Laurindo Lopes de Carvalho; her beloved husband, Dr. Fabiano Sayão Lobato; and her daughter, Sandra Sayão Lobato. She is survived by her siblings, Edson Machado de Carvalho and Elasir Muzzi Carneiro; her son, Arthur Sayão Lobato and wife, Marisa Cristina de Souza; her daughter, Denise Lobato Wolf; and her five cherished grandchildren: Delaney Grace Helgeson, Hagen X Wolf, Janaye Isabel Wolf, Isabel Cristina Lobato, and Arthur Samuel Lobato.

Emily will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and “Gammie,” whose love and selfless spirit enriched the lives of those around her. She was a woman of unwavering faith, whose gentle prayers and steadfast trust in God brought comfort and strength to her family. Though she is no longer with us, we find peace in knowing she rests in the arms of her Savior, reunited with her loved ones in eternal glory.

“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.” — John 11:25
