Darrell was a motivator, a talented singer, rapper, and a comedian. He brought laughter and joy to every room he entered and made an impression on everyone he met.
He was born to Evelyn Stevenson and Kenneth William Palmer on September 21, 1990, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Darrell spent his early life in Corpus Christi and Robstown, Texas. He was a bright, curious, and talkative student - often going against the grain of the school norms and ensuring his opinions were shared and heard. Darrell attended Haas Junior High School, where he started playing sports. He later moved to Dallas, Texas, to be with family at 13, living with his sister Latoya and brother-in-law Russell. He attended Billy Ryan High School, where he participated in football and band, and then transferred to Coppell High School, where he was active in sports and played on the football team. While attending Coppell High School, he dated Brianna Richelet, and from this relationship, a daughter, Rylee Palmer, was born.
Darrell worked for Enovia Logistics and, over the years, carved a path in the tech industry- self-teaching himself to understand software and hardware systems, and quickly moving up the ranks while receiving accolades at any company he was employed.
Darrell loved to cook, sing, dance, and spend time with his family. He reveled in the laughter and love he experienced whenever he was around his mom, daughter, sisters, cousins, brothers, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
Darrell is preceded in death by his dad, Kenneth William Palmer, Grandma Josephine Gidrey, Great-Grandma Leatha Gidrey, Uncle Charles Cummings, and brother, Riley Stevenson IV.
