Robert (Bobby) Farrel Neisler, age 65, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. Bobby was born on December 19, 1955 in Tulsa, OK but spent most of his childhood in Arlington, TX. He attended the University of Texas at Arlington where he studied Mechanical Engineering. In April 1991 he married Lorrie Lutz and they had two daughters, Haley and Katie. He worked in the commercial construction business for many years, joining Vandel and Overstreet before starting and running his own company, Commercial Building Concepts, for the past 29 years. He was an exceptional engineer, the best in his field; if you could dream it, HE could build it.
When he wasn’t working hard, he was playing hard. He was an avid adventurer, jumping in head first to any activity that presented itself. From competitive water skiing to thousands of miles on his bicycle, he never did anything half-assed. He was happiest when exploring the mountains in his Jeep and his love for the outdoors was unmistakable. He loved old cars and hotrods and when he wasn’t busy working in his own garage, he could be found at the racetrack where he was a fueler for Sunoco at NASCAR races for over 20 years. On top of his many talents and hobbies, he served on the Double Oak Volunteer Fire Department for more than 15 years.
Of all the roles he filled, husband and father were his most important. He was a supporter and a motivator and taught those around him to work hard, have integrity and be proud of what they’ve achieved. He has touched many lives and will never be forgotten.
Bobby is survived by his wife Lorrie Neisler, daughters Haley Neisler and fiancé Brandon Mikulka, Katie Neisler and Lindsey Neisler, father-in-law David Lutz, sister-in-law Carmen Hicks and husband Jeff, sister-in-law Kathy Lock and husband Duane, sister-in-law Debbie Carlson and husband Skip, brother-in-law Darin Lutz and wife Cindy, brother from another mother Dave Wilson, brother Ken Neisler, 10 nephews, dogs Koa ‘Koko’ and Jazzie ‘Jasper Bean’ and many more beloved friends and family.
He is predeceased by his father Robert Neisler, mother Mae Neisler and mother-in-law Rosemarie Hagemann.
A private family memorial service will be held at 1:30pm on Monday, December 20th at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held for Bobby's friends and family from 4-7pm on Monday at Marty B's, 2664 FM407 E; Bartonville, TX 76226
