Betty Jean Conner age 92 was Born October 16, 1926 in Tahona, OK to Eugene “Clifford” and “Leida” Pauline Carr Bartmess. Betty gently passed into the loving arms of Jesus from her home in Carrolton TX surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday March 31, 2019. She was the eldest of 13 children. As a US Military spouse, Betty traveled and lived throughout the United States while raising her 6 children. She was an accomplished and sought after Executive Assistant supporting leaders for both US domestic and worldwide Christian Ministry and Missionary organizations. In 1981, she joined Mary Kay Cosmetics and the close-knit executive support team working side by side with Mary Kay Ash where she remained until her retirement. Her greatest passion was sharing the love of Jesus with people while traveling the world for Youth With A Mission to places such as Moscow (USSR) and boating down the Amazon River. She loved meeting her friends for their regular Bible study and prayer group sessions. Betty played ukulele and sang with the “Strummers” musical group throughout Dallas delighting all who attended their small shows. She was also a talented painter. Betty is now reunited in Heaven with her son Kerry Brackin, father Clifford, mother Leida, sisters Patricia, Louise Nichols-Dorssett Avenius, Linda Hastings, brothers Cliff Jr., Glenn, Ronnie, Don (Venita), and Michael. She is survived by her brothers Harold, Bobby (Junie), Jack (Katy), and sister Sue Booth Lott, daughters Karla Maxwell, Kim Conner, Katy Tozier (Stuart), sons Bob Brackin (Ronda), Patrick Kelly Conner (Jacqueline). Betty (Nana) had 10 amazing grandchildren, 15 adorable great grandchildren, and 1 delightful great great grandchild.
