Rene nació en San Jose Matas, República Dominicana a sus padres, Juan Ramon Nunez y Maria Modesta Ramirez. En el trabajo de su vida, él disfrutó de cocina y llegó a ser un Jefe de cocina.

Sobrevivir son sus niños - Arlene, Reneydo y Wendy; sus nietos - Brandon, Ralphie, Angelina y Anthony; hermanos, las hermanas, los primos y los amigos.

La familia y los amigos reunirán en la funeraria el miércoles, de 2 de la tarde por a 9:30 de la tarde. Una Masa Fúnebre será ofrecida el jueves, a las 10:00 de la mañana. El entierro seguirá en Trinity Cementerio, Amityville

Mr. Rene Nunez, of Copiague, Long Island, died September 8, 2012. He was 58 years old.

Rene was born in San Jose Matas, Dominican Republic to his parents, Juan Ramon Nunez and Maria Modesta Ramirez. In his life's work, he enjoyed cooking and became a Chef.

Surviving are his children - Arlene, Reneydo and Wendy; his grandchildren - Brandon, Ralphie, Angelina and Anthony; brothers, sisters, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 2 p.m. through to 9:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery, Amityville.
