Kathleen, known lovingly as Kathy, Ka, Aunt Ka, and Ka-ka, was a beloved partner, daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend.
Kathy grew up in Copiague, New York, and resided in West Babylon, New York. Kathy loved to travel, recently visiting Yellowstone National Park as part of a lifelong dream. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with friends and family. She had a great appreciation for all the little things in life, making the most of every moment.
Kathy devoted her life to her loved ones and her patients. As a nurse for over 40 years, Kathy always went the extra mile for those in her care. She was looking forward to enjoying more of her retirement with her family and friends. Kathy treated everyone she knew with kindness, love, and care. She had unending love and support for all of those in her life. She was always there for her loved ones, or for anyone who needed support or care. She was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer a shoulder to cry on. She was always thinking about those she loved and ways to bring them joy, telling and showing them how much they were loved. Kathy was a treasure to all of those that she met. Words cannot express all that Kathy was or how much she will be missed.
Kathy is predeceased by her partner Joseph Coby, her parents Goodwin and Helen Dunn, her nephew Brandon Waldholz, and dear family and friends. She is survived by her siblings, James (Jamie) Dunn, Stephen (Teri) Dunn, and Eileen (Allan) Waldholz; nieces and nephews Nicholas (Kristen) Dunn, Maegan (Joel) Whitley, Joshua Dunn, Jessica Stamelman, Rachel Waldholz (Dade Walls), and Rowan Waldholz; great-nephew Amos Whitley; great-niece Til Whitley; and other close friends and family.
